Gevolg is dat steeds meer zorgorganisaties overgaan op het implementeren van een kwaliteitssysteem met daarbij behorende doelen en audits. Maar, medewerkers ‘moeten’ dan vooral veel en missen betrokkenheid. Scienta denkt dat het anders kan.

Wat doet Scienta?
Directeur Reinder Repko: “Scienta levert slimme cloudsoftware. Organisaties managen hun processen in Scienta, ze gebruiken het als kwaliteits- of documentmanagementsysteem en in veel gevallen is het ook hun sociaal intranet. Dat doen we al meer dan tien jaar voor meer dan 6.000 organisaties in binnen- en buitenland. Onze klanten in de zorg zijn voornamelijk klein tot middelgroot; 10 tot 1000 werknemers.”
Welke ideeën heeft Scienta voor de zorg?
“Het grote probleem in de zorg is dat er zo veel moet,” stelt Repko. “De mensen in de zorg willen aan het bed staan. De hoeveelheid administratie is de belangrijkste reden voor veel mensen om de zorg te verlaten. Dat zien we graag anders. Wij geloven dat het veel beter werkt als we dat ‘moeten’ veranderen in ‘willen’. Dat kan als mensen zien dat het kwaliteitssysteem hen helpt om hun werk beter te doen. We hebben vorig jaar in oktober een webinar gehouden over dit onderwerp voor bijna 900 belangstellenden. Dit thema leeft heel erg.”
Voorbeeldhandboek
Scienta is gaan praten met klanten, gerenommeerde bedrijfsadviseurs en kwaliteitsmanagers in de zorg. Die stelden ze vragen als; hoe hebben jullie dit ingericht? Hoe kijken jullie hiernaar? Repko: “Daaruit is het voorbeeldhandboek Zorg & Welzijn voortgekomen. Met documenten over thema’s als risicomanagement, cliëntveiligheid en continue verbetering. Het omvat een zorgplan, een signaleringsplan en documenten over het aanvragen, uitvoeren, evalueren en beëindigen van zorg. Het handboek wordt heel veel aangevraagd.”
Waarmee onderscheidt Scienta zich?
“Scienta is de digitale collega die alles weet. Onze software is er voor iedereen. En dan moet iedereen het ook instant begrijpen. Daar werken we elke dag keihard aan. Gelukkig is dit ook één van de meest gehoorde complimenten van onze klanten: ‘Dit is écht gebruikersvriendelijke software.’ En wanneer klanten toch supporttraining nodig hebben, dan is dat voor onze rekening. Klanten kunnen hun geld terugkrijgen als ze de software niet goed genoeg vinden of als het ze onvoldoende helpt om de regeldruk te verminderen.
Onze software maakt complexe zaken heel begrijpelijk, zorgt ervoor dat anderen hun werk goed kunnen doen, laat mensen meedenken en biedt ze houvast om zich te ontwikkelen. Iedereen is op deze manier onderdeel van de organisatie. We gaan hiermee weer terug naar de bedoeling van de zorg,” stelt Repko vast.
